Opinions on the Tokina 17-35mm f4 for Nikon mount?

Currently shooting with a D600 and deciding between the Nikon 16-35mm f4 VR which I've used a couple times for landscape shoots and found it very impressive of course. I want to buy a dedicated landscape lens but curious about the IQ and performance of the Tokina 17-35mm f4.

Thoughts, opinions?
