The Church in the second picture is my home towns Parish Church. It dates from 1412, though it's built on the site of a much earlier church. A stained glass window in the church, the Flodden Window is unique, having on it the names of the Middleton Archers who fought at the Battle of Flodden in 1513. It is believed to be the oldest War Memorial in existence.
