NO! I bought my D7000 in Novemeber for a great price. I have already added a few lens to my collection and even though the D7100 seems attractive it doesnt make me regret my purchase. Yes there are more AF points but I dont think I need them. The higher MP (16 vs 24) just seems more of a burden then anything else. I already feel like my pics are taking up too much space, i cant imagine having to manage 24 MP images. I would probably start shooting at a lower resolution if I had a 24 PM camera.

What I wish they would have added to the D7100 are:

- ability to create panoramas

- HDR images

- selective colors

What I like about the D7100:

- bigger screen

- higher resolution screen

- OLE overlay in the viewfinder (cool! take that Sony) which gives you the best of both worlds

- 1.3x selective crop

Good to know Nikon is keeping the D7000+ alive and active but if anything my next camera would be a FX format.

- Ken
