Here, to me at least, the important part is the first line,

"Solidifying Nikon’s ongoing commitment to the DX-format D-SLR customer."

If Nikon really mean this then there could well be another Pro level DX body not too far away.

As an aside I wonder why there are a lot of comments on pricing levels between FX and DX formats that seem to be saying that all DX models should be cheaper than the lowest priced FX model. I cannot see any reason why a Pro level all singing all dancing DX model should not be priced higher than a base level FX model.
