Hi Yves,

I´m happy to be one of the first to answer, before this thread is going up in flames.

Nikon has two different ways of implementing bracketing:

Professional cameras (like D800/D4 class) take up to 9 shots - but the maximum difference is 1 stop (altogether 9 stops).

Semiprofessional cameras (like D600) take a maximum of three shots, but up to three stops difference (altogether 9 stops) (I´m not sure wether I´m correct here, have no camera to check)

Amateur cameras (like D5200) take three shots, difference maximum two stops (6stops altogether).

So basically, the results are similar. And I do my HDr always out of three images (2stops difference). With a d800 tht means 5f 1.0, and discard two shots.

So even if this would be possible, I doubt that Nikon will implement it.
