Epson 3880. The 150C problem.
|
Got my new (UK) 3880 on Tuesday.
About three times I have sent it a print job and got the Call the Engineer message with a fault described as 150C. Powering off and on a couple of times seemed to clear it.
My engineer today told me, on the phone, to remove the mains cable for thirty seconds and to try again. The machine worked fine. Powering off and on a few more times still produced a working printer.
What it the experience of others who have had this problem?
A forum 'search' suggests that in the US Epson send you a replacement machine. In the UK the system is to send you an engineer to make an adjustment or replace a part.
