What is Pentax waiting for??

I'm a K5 user with a few 645 lenses left over from my film days.  I don't understand the argument that your 645 150mm lens will give the FOV of a 390mm lens on an APSC camera like the K01.  Perhaps I've misunderstood......  Surely a 150mm lens is a 150mm lens?  It's only the image circles that vary in diameter with the intended format.  Crop factors are relative to another format.  APSC has a 1.5X FF crop factor and any 150mm lens will give a FOV on an APSC sensor the same as a 225mm lens on FF?  Not so?
