Fujifilm X20 vs Nokia Pureview 808 Image Samples : Thoughts Appreciated

I've posted this same thread on the Fuji forum. Some Fuji fans thought that I was joking when I mentioned the 808 is capable of better results than some of the X20 images posted on the Fuji Japan site. I want to join the Fuji family but some of the early sample images of the X20 don't look too much different from the 808. As a matter of fact, I felt they look slightly inferior with lack of clarity and sharpness and overall dull colors(in comparison to typical rich and pleasant Fuji colors). Post as below. First of all, I sincerely ask you to remove all your expectation biases and rate the photos as if you don't know what camera is used to take these images. I will be posting this same thread on the Open Talk forum later, to see how the images of the 808 compare to the ones taken by the X20, since some have regarded my earlier comment about smartphones matching or surpassing the IQ of some of the X20 samples to be a joke.

Please do take note that I am not promoting the Nokia Pureview 808 here nor do I want to put down the X10 or X20. It is certainly not of my interest or intention to do so although some of you may have thought that way. The X20 and X100S are the only cameras that I will consider buying. As a matter of fact, I want the X20 to show APPRECIABLE if not significant improvement in IQ over the Pureview 808.

The areas where I expect the X20 to show superiority over the 808 are in color rendition(the pleasant Fuji colors), overall clarity and sharpness. Nevertheless, the some of the early samples do not seem to show this. A forum member has added some post-processing to the images and the result of the sharpened image does look much better, but the colors are still slightly undersaturated.

Do share you thoughts and let me know whether you think some images look noticeably inferior than others, and the reasons behind your comment. Most importantly, please remove all your biases.
