I think the OP might be referring to the new one that is coming out soon that has Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation or whatever it's called). If that is the case, the links you shared would not help him in the least since the newest one is more than a year old and in the case of the first one, more than four. The new Tamron is supposedly exceptionally good, almost as good as the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR 2 with superior vibration reduction. It is further aided by the fact that it will retail for about $1,600 which makes it about a thousand less than the Nikon. I haven't tried it out, but there seems to be more excitement for the Tamron than the new Nikon 20-200mm f4 (which has the new VR 3).
The nikonguy compared the the Tammy VC and VRII. I think he agrees with your statement that the VC is better than the VRII.
I'm also curious to get feedback from peeps who have used both as I am ready to pull the trigger on the VRII due to the price drop and bundled filters from Ado.
