Metering Question on Canon 600D
Feb 20, 2013

I am a bit new to photography and was comparing 2 specs for the Canon 600D,

The Canon website states the following regarding Metering Modes:

TTL full aperture metering with 63-zone SPC
(1) Evaluative metering (linked to all AF points)
(2) Partial metering at center (approx. 9% of viewfinder)
(3) Spot metering (approx. 4% of viewfinder at center)
(4) Center weighted average metering

The website I am looking to purchase from states:

9-point wide-area AF and iFCL metering
Nine AF points, including one central cross-type sensor, spread out across the frame for swift, accurate focusing. 63-zone iFCL metering ensures accurate exposures every time.

My questions is, what is the difference between SPC and iFCL metering?

Thanks in advance
