Sony a58 from Sony

I think Sony have messed up big time with this one.

It looks like another A35 - a stop-gap camera to fix a problem that does not exist.

Its not as good as the A57 in many respects and its bulkier than the A37.

Obviously it makes things easier for Sony by just making one model instead of two. Less inventory etc. But whats in it for the customer? I'm not sure I can see any reason to but this camera over say an A57?

I just hope the new 20MP sensor is a cracker and is the future?
