Thanks for the comments! Yes there is some heavy duty cloning done with Lightroom.  There were lots of people walking and standing all along the path from the lighthouse to where I was standing.  I also cloned out a large speed limit sign (don't know why it was there) on the right side of the frame.  A longer exposure may have rendered the walking people 'invisible' but oh well.

I agree with earlier posts that the smearing is annoying and I may revisit the original and invest some more time to clean things up better as I do like the overall final result.
