That is trus but then, if you crop to a 70mm fov, you end up with a 6 mp picture. Very limited considering this is a 3000$ 24mp camera.

Fixed lenses, we all know what they are: best, but no zoom. As for the price, how much is a Leica with a Summicron 35 f/2? And is not better.
I wasn't talking about that. No one denies that it is a great 35mm for those who are looking for the quality it represents and should be considered as a 35mm fixed focus camera. But some people claim it has the versatility of a zoom lens because of the clear view zoom, sorry, it is not the case, it doesn't even comes close.
