GH2 29.97i mixed with 24p footage

So I shot an interview and had someone else who supposedly knew what they were doing man one of the cameras. After getting the footage back, I noticed it was all 29.97i footage. On playback it looks jittery, almost as if it was shot at 12 FPS..... How can I fix this footage with premiere? I have MB Grinder but it doesn't accept MTS files. I have the full adobe suite.

2GB nvidia card

32 GB ram

PLEASE help! You know the story... Client wants it yesterday.....
