Clear pictures - help requiered

Iris. After reading your original post, I was expecting some sort of fuzzy mess [a bit like most of mine!! lol] Looking at the pics you put up I don't see why you are so dissapointed myself. There seems nothing there that a smaller aperture wouldn't fix. The slightly washed out look of the first one seems a result of shooting slightly into the sun. [did you use a UV filter or a lens hood?] The narrower aperture would help there also. Overall, they are good pics, especialy No2. A polarizer would not be a bad idea if you live in such a sunny climate. Don't forget, the best photographers have throw-aways also.
