should we buy the 35mm 1.4 if we have the kit 18-55 ?

I don't have the 35. I do have the 18-55 and all I can say is WoW!  In the recent past my favorite lens was the Nikon 17-55. A great lens. The Fuji 18-55 is every bit as good. By the way the bokeh on the 18-55 is no slouch. Much better than you'd expect from a zoom lens.
