Will my gear survive in weather ranging from 0 to -6 degree temperature?

Hello folks, I need some advice and info. I have a Canon 60D along with a 18-55mm & a 70-200mm L f4 IS lens. I'm of lying to London and then followed by Paris and I've heard the temperatures are really low right foggy ranging between 0 to -6 and I'm never been to a cold country before  so I'm skeptical and confused whether I should take my camera along, cause I would love to but do not want to take a risk of damaging my equipment and then later on spending a ton of money on repair.  I also await to know whether a sigma 10-24mm when used in such temperatures get damaged cause I want to borrow one from a friend of mine.
