So much technical words are said here that the SLT is reducing the light going to the sensor. . .

I checked http://www.imaging-resource.com/IMCOMP/COMPS01.HTM to compare the images

taken by sony and Canon and what I found is for the same ISO settings Sony gives "Brighter" pics.

Now the issue is I liked the Canon's image since it was not as bright. . !
