ICC profile varies between quality settings? ColorMunki + R220
Feb 19, 2013

I have been experimenting with my printers and ColorMunki, and I've noticed that if I change the printing quality setting on the R220 print settings dialog from "Photo" to "Best Photo", the prints come out with a very strong green cast. Is this normal?

I am creating a separate profile for the paper with the "Best Photo" quality setting while writing this, but I just wanted to check whether this is something to be worried about. I don't recall what quality setting I used for the original profile I've been using, but judging by the results, it must have been "Photo".

For reference, the paper I'm using is PermaJet 5x7 Glossy, and the R220 has refillable carts and dye inks. Nozzle check comes out perfect, but I had some problems with air bubbles in the magenta channel initially.
