Whomever told you to use only RAW only did you a disservice.

It is the nature of digital photography that most photos require some sharpening in a computer or printing machine before being placed on paper, or even shown on a monitor.

When you use JPEG format, the camera automatically sharpens your photos. How much it sharpens them depends on how the camera is set.

Anyway, I sharpened both your photos, using Photoshop Elements, and they are fine.

I don't see any problem with the sharpness.  If you zoom into the left hand side of the building everything is sharp.  I'm assuming Sharpening has already been applied if the OP processed the Raws in DPP and used the default Picture Style settings like Standard or Landscape.

The trees on the left of the building do look a bit soft and I suspect that might be due to the +2 Luminance Noise Reduction that is applied by default to Raws in DPP.  In the preferences I set all the NR sliders to 0 so that I can see unadulterated sharpness from the camera.  It makes quite a difference to fine detail.
