not IMX from Sony and not MH from Panasonic... search people, do your part

It's YOUR Strawman, so why should 'WE' help you?

not you dude... move on.

You sound frustrated.

no, I am happy that I was able to find and post what I was intended to find and post

Since you want concrete proof from others to be convinced, how about do the same and post something concrete to prove to others.

you probably did not notice - I found and posted that sensor does not have neither IMX nor MN markings expected from either Sony Semiconductor or Panasonic... do you want the proof that it bears no IMX marking ?

To do that show the sensor maker which uses this marker and uses it on all its sensors. And also show that that is not Sony.

everybody knows that all Sony sensors in P&S, APS-C and FF cameras were marked w/ IMX... but if you find the proof that M109 is a Sony Semiconductor I will be thankful... so far non IMX marking is more like non Sony (but non MN marking is more like non Panasonic at the same time)

so far all you have done is to show what marking is on this sensor, you have not proved that it is not put there by sony.

by that logic any marking can be put by any company :-)... fact is that all non disputed Sony sensors were marked as IMX... this one was marked a M - why ?
