Clear pictures - help requiered

The bad part of all this was that the light was so bright that i could barely see the screen of the camera altogether.

My fault is that i am very picky with my pictures. I dont expect to be a National Geographic photographer but then again i want my pictures as clearer as i can get. The only tools i have and am able to use is the Canon software to edit and convert the RAW. Photoshop is way out of my league so all i can do is to try to get the best out of a RAW picture. The sad part is that some of them came out blurry and some came quite nice.

This is why i needed some advice from experimented people like all of you, to point out my mistakes so that next time i avoid making them. Now i know, higher F :).
