Pentax has come on a lot since the *istDS

i just gave mine, a little apologetically, to the 13-year-old son of an acquaintance - with the original kit lens and an fa 28-105. the boy is bowled over (it's his first dslr), and your photos assure me that i did not hand someone just starting out a nothing camera. i haven't told them yet that i have an m 28/3.5 in the pipeline for him once he gets a bit further along. thanks for posting!
