I saw the same question in Pentax forum and tried to correct a few wrongly presented things, and all I'm getting back is unargumented (fanboi) attacks whose only purpose is to bash the OMD, and not to help the OP.

Here, on the other hand, didn't noticed any such things and not a bad word had been spoken about the K-5.

What I think is the reason (besides the greats MODs here ofc ) is the fact that most of the OMD users (or lot) came from all kind of full size dslrs and know how to appreciate m43 qualities in general. There, most of users are brand loyalists not allowing any other light to came in,so to speak. What do you think ?

Anyway, I'm glad being part of this community.

Hey Jolly Oly, thanks for sticking with it over in the Pentax Forum. Obviously I asked the question in both forums so I could get some objectivity from both camps. I appreciate you bringing facts to that thread and am sorry for any frustration felt from trying to help me out with my decision. So far, aside from the brand bashing over there, I've been very fortunate to have several folks jumping in to offer their opinions, experience and advice. It's not easy to part with this amount of money and before making a significant investment in one system, I want to be sure that system is going to meet my needs. Clearly, both can do that, and I'm certain I'm making this more difficult by trying to 'future proof' my decision, when in reality, there will always be something better around the corner and I just need to buck up and pull the trigger.
