Hello. I had a Canon T2i, and then I moved to the Olympus OM-D E-M5. I just bought the Pentax K-5 II, so now I have both cameras. I don't want to have both systems, and have been playing with both cameras to see which one I like better. I have been VERY undecided because both of them have things that I would miss from the other camera.

What I like about Olympus is the size. I love the size of it, and because of this I don't mind taking it everywhere I go. IBIS is amazing, and helps me keep the ISO low if I want cleaner images. I also really like video thanks to IBIS. The video quality is very good when there is a lot of sunlight, and not a lot of movement. When there is a lot of movement it starts to look pixelated. I don't mine the EVF, but I noticed that I don't even use it. It's not bad (it's better than the Sony cameras in my opinion), but I just didn't just it that much. I also like that the screen tilts.

It's been a little hard trying to get used to the Pentax. Even though the Pentax is smaller compared to some cameras it becomes tiring having it the entire day. It's not heavy, but I haven't been wanting to carry the thing. I don't think SR is as useful as IBIS. With IBIS on the Olympus I've been able to capture clear shots at a shutter speed of 1 second! With SR on Pentax I've been able to get clear shots at 1/6, which is kind of close anyway. I can't seem to get used to the Pentax menu's, and the focus speed is not as fast as the Olympus at night. During the day the focusing on the Pentax is very fast though. Another thing I didn't like was video. You can only choose aperture before you start to record. You can't choose other settings. I don't really do much video, but do like to do some videos just for fun. I am very surprised by the Pentax image quality though. It looks better at high ISO. I took a picture at ISO 3200, and the picture looks SO GOOD when pixel peeping.

I'm torn, and now I don't which one I want to keep. I don't know if I want the smaller size, so that I want to take it with me, or stay with Pentax to get the best image quality. I ended up putting both for sell, and keep the one that doesn't sell. lol
