fast lens Lx7 vs big sensor of the RX100....
Feb 19, 2013

This may seem like a dumb question but why would the slower lens of the rx100 be an issue?  Am I correct in assuming that most people don't zoom in low light situations?

From what I understand the rx100 starts to stop up significantly more than the lx7 when zooming but in good light this shouldn't be an issue I don't think.

Looking for some opinions on this.   I love the panny user interface and ergonomics of their cameras, and the advancements in the tz40 lead me to believe that an lx9 could be an amazing camera.

I do realize I'm posting to panny fans but have read many of you have rx100's or have had it.
