Well, both cameras that I mentioned can be fully controlled, but it's less comfortable and takes more time and attention.

I much prefer cameras with more direct settings myself. But even a Nikon D7000 with 18-105 plus 8-16 is still cheaper than a similar Fuji kit. And we don't know yet when the Fuji wideangle will be available and at what cost.
