The Pentax is now a Chinese owned outfit [same company as Ricoh] with HQ in Taiwan ... and the quality of workmanship is nowhere near as good as it was when the brand was owned by Hoya in Japan.

Hmmm ... since when was Ricoh known for anything less than an excellent line of products & quality of workmanship ?? And what did Hoya ever do for Pentax?
