Excellent! Please keep shooting!

It is damn difficult to bag those shots and lighting with birds is always tricky.

Now any idea where we the frustrated can find TC-E17ED's?

Thanks!, I think Vickie had several at one point?...she's probably going going to flame me good!

Only two! Had to have a back up since they are hard to find at a good price.

As far as finding one for sale, watch all the regular places every day, at least a couple times a day. They go fast if the price is good. Ebay, Keh, B&H, Craigslist, shopgoodwill.com, etc. Check your local camera shops and camera repair shops that deal with used equipment. Check sales for the Nikon 8700 and 8800. In December 2012 there was an 8800 for sale on eBay. Hidden in the many included accessories was a TC-E17ED, unused! The listing did not show on a search for TC-E17ED unless you specifically included a search in the description, not just title,. I think the whole kit went for around $220.

Cole, did you sell your spare(s)?

Lol...I knew I was going to regret it...yes I have a couple extra that stashed back as I was using them on two cameras at one time...then I DROPPED one of them on the lens filter side of course and it severely damaged the filter threads, I gave it to an old man in Florida that shoots everyday in the Florida Sunshine...he still loves it to this day and I guess he repaired it best he could...

If someone came up with a good trade or some gold bullion or something they could probably talk me out of one of mine...lol...

No tooth fillings excepted....

Mr Ichiro Kitao, I support the call to upgrade the FZ50.
I will not only buy one but two no questions asked...
