Ah alright. Second question: are these churches primarily in settings where you'll have plenty of room to back off and shoot, or are they on cramped city/town streets? If the former, wide-angle is unlikely to be necessary at all.

You might also consider taking a Sony RX100 for a spin. If Fuji's claims hold true, the X20 will perform better in low light, but in terms of daylight fine detail the RX100 seems like a pretty solid camera.

I still vote for an X100 though...if only because it's the greatest camera ever made. And I say that completely objectively and without hyperbole!
