Olympus service busts my OMD!

I just got my camera back from Olympus after 2 weeks (for sensor cleaning). It was sent to Portugal it appears. No flash hot-shoe cover... I can live with that. But unfortunately, apart from resetting everything to defaults, the camera now freezes up completely and behaves in a generally unpredictable way. In fact it's broken.
I check the firmware version. My camera says body = v1.5, (kit)lens = v1.1. I check the Olympus website where the latest version for the camera is listed as v 1.2.
Before I get in touch with Olympus - and probably have to send it on holiday for a couple of weeks, again - anyone got any ideas?
