Alaska: What equipment where to go.

Hello Folks:

My wife and I are going to Alaska at the end of July and the first half of August so I would like your thoughts on what equipment and sites we should consider.

We live in south Louisiana so the dreaded air travel is a must.  Bringing necessaries in addition to my photography gear seems to be a major task  I would like to bring a 7d and a 5dm3, a tripod and a 70-200, 400 with a 2x converter and a few wide angle lenses but it seems I might have too much stuff.

We're flying into Fairbanks then planning on joining a bus-train tour to Denali and back to Seward with quite a few stops along the way.  Since these plans are not set I would be thankful for any recommendations.
