FUJiFILM XF 18-55 resolution test

i just bought the zoom to complete my fuji set (XP-1, 35 1.4 and 60 2.4);

i bought this lens in place of the 18 F2, because reading the review it seem sharper and with less CA, and because i really like the 35mm equivalent focal length...

i  did few test  to see if i have good copy or a lemon, and it seem to me a bit soft wide open.

at 55 F4 it seem soft, and really good from 5.6 to F11.

in comparison at F4 the fuji 60mm is way sharper.

even at 35mm it seem a little bit soft wide open, for sure worst then the fixed 35mm lens at same aperture

looking at this review my lens seem really similar

but if this is "normal",  it's hard to understand the dozens enthusiast review on the net.

anyway here u can download my 100% crop to give a look, images are processed in LR 4.3 (yes i know it's not the best raw processor for X-trans, but it's just a comparison)
