X-Trans Works Its Magic
I do not know if anyone knows who Eric Bouvet is but I have been following his work for years. He is one of the worlds most respected war zone photographers. His work is both uplifting and chilling. I reckon it is a miracle he hasn't been killed.
In a recent interview with a French magazine he said after years working and using the Nikon F2 and later with the Canon 5D II, he now wants to use the Fujifilm X-Pro 1:http://www.01net.com/editorial/564450/l-and-156-il-du-photographe-eric-bouvet-et-le-fujifilm-x-pro-1-1-2/(You will need to use Google tanslate)
Have a look at his work at Burning Man, taken with a Fuji X-Pro1. Sorry if this has been posted before:http://ericbouvet.com/Burning-Man
If his Burning Man shots were taken with a full frame camera I would reckon they are some of the best photos I have seen but to realize they were taken with a small apc-s size camera I reckon is crazy berserk. I reckon for sure shows the x-trans to be so way ahead of other apc-s cameras.
If you want to see his amazing body of work check out his main site:http://ericbouvet.com/
There are plenty of threads in this forum that contain plenty of arguments but I thought it would be really great to show something that hopefully is beyond the petty arguments where we all can simply settle back and admire really amazing work from a photographer who really knows his stuff.
I really hope people enjoy looking at these, his work is really incredible and hopefully will give us all something to aspire to.
