revisiting old E-3 images with LR4: WOW! (share your experience please)
Feb 17, 2013

This weekend I have spent some time finally processing images from a NE-USA trip in 2008.

I had returned home with such an amount of images that I had never really gotten around to properly processing them.  I had just done a few select samples at the time.

Anyway : viewing the difference in processing between those old first attempts, and my current PP work, I think I must say that both Lightroom and my own processing skills have improved dramatically.

So this brought me to the idea (simultaneously wonderful and horrifying), that I believe it would be a good idea to revisit a selection of my images from the past 5 or 6 years, and give them a good brushing-up with current technology and skill...

The following quick samples (reprocessing of E-3 images from 2009) convinced me that if I ever feel inclined to make an anthology of my best images, I should really make the effort to reprocess them.

current PP version - colour

current PP version - B&W

So here is my question -- and challenge:

Are you experiencing the same?

Please explain how you approach this, and, of course, please SHOW your samples !!
