Legacy Lens Question !

Now that Sony, Sigma and others are making/starting to make lenses for the NEX series, how important is the legacy lens thing, unless you all ready own that lens.

I see no reason to buy a 35 f ? when Sony has it and Sigma has a 30mm f2.8 that has great resolution. The same goes for other lenses.

It is great that I can use my older lenses, but for me to buy a lens to be used on the NEX cameras when Sony and others are making/starting to make those lenses, to me seems foolish.

Yes, I know if you need a 500mm ? then that is a different issue, but for the general lenses, I think Sony has it covered.
