I have the Nikon TC E17 ED that me and my wife have used extensively on a Panasonic FZ-20 and FZ30 to shoot birds. We used different adapters to mount the converter to these cameras but the results were outstanding. It's bokeh is similar to the large Nikon lenses.

My opinion is that the TC E17 ED is worth every penny, the best converter available for the money. We did buy Pansonic's teleconverter at the time, but we sold it quickly, since there was no competition between the two.

Instead of talking too much let the images do the talking. (Don't forget to click on the individual images as the small images do not do justice to this great converter.)
