OK, I think my point is made, and thank you for providing the samples to help me. I'm done here. The Zuiko SHG lenses are the highest quality SLR optics available, period. End of discussion for me, thanks for playing.

Without question, at 100% the D800 is a camera for excellent primes. It may be better to compare the output from the D4, or downsize the D800 shot. I do believe however that the SHG line are a tour de force optically.
