Composition, impact & edit - C&C - "Street" shot

For a while I have been trying to find ways to get myself more immersed in street photography. After reading a few articles and tips from various sources such as Eric Kim and also communicating with others on various forums, I tried to improve my "eye" for a scene and also get a better feel for people and their behaviour. What better place to just have multiple scenes presented to you than a shopping centre. I got a few shots I thought had some interest and of these there was one with a very "dedicated" security guard. Another with a gentleman in a wheelchair that I bought had some interest. I liked the feeling of isolation that the wheelchair photo had and I thought that this was mimicked in it s own way by the security guard. both stoic in a way. At the very least I am not 100% sure about the full message that I am trying to convey but thats the best words I can put to it.
I took the security guard and added him to the wheelchair photo ad I am undecided as to which works better.
I am looking for comments/critique on which picture works better from the perspective of composition and impact/interestingness. Any additional comments or critique about the photos, technical quality, the edit made or anything else is also welcome.
