how to get the battery out of the charger?

Indeed.   I recall as a boy that was the tool of choice my Dad reached for when the TV acted up.   It was also the tool he later used to express his feelings of the Doors' "Waiting for The Sun" LP (I think it was "Five To One" that got his passion all  fired up on that day).   [g]

In later years, I thought of my dad when hammering a keyboard to see if that would get the computer to respond.   Quite the versatile tool.
