This is so silly a question as to call for a swollen battery precaution (which, if it is swelling, has the potential to explode - I don't think I'm being overly dramatic). If you have any such suspicions, unplug the charger pronto.

Good. I can't fathom how an OEM battery/charger would get stuck if there was no swelling involved (I've run through 6 separate ยต4/3 chargers in the past 3 years alone), and I had assumed it was OEM with the new camera.
Whatever - I'm glad that's all it was.
