That's why the Firewire bus crashes once I insert the second CF card in the second reader. I just sent the support an email and asked if it's possible to manually change the device ID.
Also - do the cards have the same name - that might be the issue. I don't think plugging in 2 of the same device would be a problem - but maybe. I have multiple HDs that are the same - but with different names.
