Q - diffraction and resolution

Also, are they from RAW or JPEG, and if RAW did you apply any extra sharpening?  F/8 looks pretty good, trying to see if it looks about like diffraction limit at f/8 or not.

I assume that is best focus you can do at that range?  The only thing else I could think of is if the lens was reaching infinity focus or not.
