Myself, I see a rather huge difference in favor of the 6D, even on my laptop screen.
There's a difference, no question, but not as much as I had thought. I'm guessing about 1.5 stops. But when compared to the GX1, it's much better.
The question isn't really "is it as good as camera X," but "will it suit my needs?"
In this case, yes. With some noise reduction applied to the raw files and some light sharpening to the final photo, it's actually pretty good at higher ISOs.

I see about a 1 to 1.5 stop difference between my OM-D EM5 and 5DMkII. The 5D2 will still be my camera of choice for when top IQ is needed, but for travel and personal work, the OMD is definitely good enough. Also, the added DOF of the EM5 allows me to shoot at an ISO two stops lower than the 5D2, which narrows the playing field to some degree. Of course when I want shallow DOF, the OM-D can't compete, but I can accept that (and so can my shoulders and back).
