Very impressed with the A65

I've been shooting Sony cameras since about 2003, the first one being the P10 compact. I've tried the NEX series and although the image quality is stunning I just didn't get on with the CDAF and limited hardware controls. My last Sony SLT was the A55 which I used on honeymoon and I thought it was pretty good but the A65 seems a lot better. The EVF is extremely good with absolutely no tearing or smearing, and I find that with the size of the A65 and it's hardware controls I can set most of the common functions whilst keeping the camera to my eye. I'm using the Tamron 17-50 F/2.8, the same lens as I used on the A55 and having that wide aperture through the zoom range really makes a difference at night and indoors, or isolating subjects through DoF. The GPS also seems more reliable than the A55, it seems to lock on quite quickly.

I went for a walk on my lunchbreak today and took these four pics. I used a circular polarizing filter to increase the saturation and contrast in the sky.
