no, i didnt say i liked the bridge image, i did say i liked the composition but the subject matter just doesnt grab me, although the exposure looks to be fine now.
I may be treating this image in too simple a term, but to my eyes it is either well under exposed, or alternatively, its over exposed and is not quite a silhouette.
I was aiming for inbetween : enough detail left to discern some features (not a total silhouette), but not exposed enough to show all irrelevant textures. The original was a bit lighter and I darkened it a bit.
when i first viewed the bridge image it was on my mobile phone at work, and the image looked a lot darker than it does now on my laptop. i now agree that the exposure looks fine on my laptop so i am only too happy to retract the exposure criticism i gave, and i will not pass comment again on any images until i view them at home on the laptop.
this is just my opinion.
And I thank you for expressing it. Always a learning process for me.
