The point is that the most RAW headroom you get , the most highlights and shadows you will finally get in JPEGS So RAW headroom is the essence of good JPEG

Since the Fuji sensor has got an impressive RAW headroom, you can play with highlights -2 and shadows -2 if needed and get a resulting DR in JPEG that is astonishing, see DR section of XP1 DPR review.
