tiggle,

It's unclear to me what you mean when you say "process them in raw." Would you please be more specific?

For example, you can:

1. Use Bridge to open a raw in ACR, make changes, and just click "Done".

2. Use Bridge to open a raw in ACR, make changes, and use ACR to Save Image in any format (jpeg, tif, psd).

3. Use Bridge to open a raw in ACR, make changes, click "Open Image" to pass the image to Photoshop, and save from Photoshop as jpeg, tif, or psd.

Which of these is your "process in raw" and what format (jpeg, tif, psd) are you saving in?

I'm sure several of us could identify your problem if we were sitting next to you at your computer and could see it. So perhaps post a sample for us to look at.

Use method 3 to process a raw via Photoshop and save the result as a high quality jpeg. Resize your Photoshop window to cover half the screen and display the image at 100%.

Fire up another viewer (Faststone, Windows Photo Viewer, etc.), load the jpeg at 100% view, resize the viewer window to cover the other half of the screen, so you have 2 views of the image side by side. Do a screen capture of that. Post that screen cap so we can see the difference.
