60mm f2.8 Macro, it's Ok, But...

I just received my Olympus 60mm f2.8 macro lens and it hasn't wowed me yet.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but the 60mm doesn't appear to be any sharper than any of my other lens. The 60mm is very good, but I was expecting, hoping for much more detail.

The AF is the slowest of any of my M43 lens, including the Panny 20mm. Yes, I have set the focus dial, but the lens just feels sluugish.

I have tried the lens with the Mode dial set to Sceens- Macro; A; S; and M.

Is there some settings that will make this lens perform at a higher level?
