S-biners (for camera straps), product search

I am looking  for a miniature snap-ring ("carabiner", "biner"...) strong enough to use on small, round camera strap eyelets on higher-end Nikon SLR/DSLRs. Quite surprisingly, search of - for instance -  B&H site failed to turn up anything useful.

Then I found this:

Their # .5 model is of perfect size and strength, and needs just a touch of "rounding" of its rectangular profile with a Dremel-like tool to fit into the round eyelet hole.

If, instead of the "double-sided S" design, this would be available as a single side snap-ring and fixed, narrow, .5 inch wide rectangular strap opening at the other end, that would be a 100% perfect product for the purpose. Is anybody aware of such a product?
